Yesterday I was saying I was sleepy, but while I was making the final adjustments to the slides, the date had already changed. I woke up before 6:30 in the morning, so I was able to slowly get ready while watching TV.
There were few buses to the university where the symposium was held, so I arrived much earlier than the start time. But while we were busy with various things, the start time came and the morning session began.
For lunch, I went to a shop near my university that mainly sells herbs with a female teacher from the same university. Since the restaurant was run by a single person, it took a long time for the food to be served. Since the presentation was in the afternoon, I ate my food quickly and returned to the venue. Since I was there, I bought some tea leaves as a souvenir.
Although I messed up at the very beginning of my presentation, I was able to get through what I had planned to say on time. I was given a new suggestion in the question, so I thought about it for a bit. But it came down to an existing equation, so I realized it was meaningless.
On the way back on the bullet train, I talked about various things with a female teacher from the same university. It was great that we were able to talk at leisure about things we normally wouldn't be able to talk about.
I have to create a report on this business trip and slides for my next presentation, but I am relieved that all my business trips for the year are over safely.
My part-time job starts winter classes tomorrow.
See you soon.
